This marcasite marble cross pendant has been created in Connemara marble, a unique stone dating back over 900 million years that’s known as “Ireland’s gemstone”. Our Connemara marble is authentic, coming from a family mine in Connemara itself. The Celtic Cross in this pendant is a powerful symbol of faith, dating back to the ninth century. This marcasite cross pendant features marcasite for that bit of sparkle, and has been hallmarked in Dublin Castle. No two Connemara marble jewellery pieces are alike, reflecting the individuality of each green marble. Given the natural variations in Connemara marble, the necklace you receive may differ slightly from the pictured examples.
